A little introduction

Hello everyone, my name is KirbyHazard. I am a nineteen year old girl from Durham in the North East of England. Since my childhood i have been surrounded and amazed by games growing up with consoles such as Gameboy colour, Gameboy advance, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 1,2 and 3. Many people see games as a waste of time and bad influences, believing that they force children and teens into habits such as drinking, smoking, underage sex and violence. However, I see games the way i see books and that they always have a story and some underlying lesson which allows you to evaluate yourself as a person and make you more open-minded to new concepts. I think a lot of games particularly encourage people to become interested in history, geography and career aspects as well as helping people develop their interests. One game that i played obsessively as a child was Dynasty Warriors which those of you who plays games will probably be like "Oh god not that game!". Well it was what interested me as a child! Anyway the game itself taught me not just how mash the square button repetitively till my thumb bled, it also taught me a large amount of knowledge regarding Chinese war history. For those of you who have heard of Dynasty Warriors but not played it, the game is based on real life encounters and the characters in the game were once real people who fought in a huge campaign to unite China under one rule. Although the game is quite tedious and repetitive it'll always hold a firm place in my heart as one of my favourite childhood games along with Crash Bandicoot, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, God Hand, Ico, Ratchet and Clank and many many more.

Anyway, enough of the life lessons. My goal on this blog is to inform you of upcoming games, posting several videos of myself playing games and reviewing childhood classic's or favourite games of mine. I hope that you will follow me on my journey of blogging and put up with me as best as you can :)
